About Me

I'm Joseph Chambers -- a full-stack engineer and product builder with 8+ years of experience building consumer web applications that serve millions of users. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my wife Paz and our blended family.

I've built everything from federal COVID-19 vaccination infrastructure to Product Hunt-featured Chrome extensions. At AbbVie, I build consumer web apps for Allergan's aesthetic brands reaching 8M+ annual users.

Currently building ShiftRails, an automated Ruby on Rails upgrade service -- think Laravel Shift, but for Rails. I'm also a homelab enthusiast who runs a production-grade Kubernetes cluster just for fun.

I run "Chamberslab" -- a production-grade homelab on Proxmox. It's where I test infrastructure patterns, deploy personal projects, and experiment with new technologies before recommending them to clients.

Based in Tucson, Arizona with my wife Paz and our family. Working remotely with US companies across time zones. When I'm not shipping code, I'm cooking international cuisines with my friend Mike, exploring consciousness and fringe science on my friend's YouTube channel, hanging out in some fun Telegram chatrooms, or tinkering with my homelab.
